Jacqui Vogel

Biography

Jacqui Vogel is a joint doctoral student at UCSB and SDSU studying the impacts of climate change on fisheries management and predictive methods for anticipating and adapting to change. Before joining the Joint Doctoral Program in 2023, she worked at the Environmental Defense Fund for several years as a climate-resilient fisheries analyst. Jacqui holds M.S. and B.S. degrees in Earth Systems from Stanford University, where she researched ocean-climate interactions and international fishery governance.
