Gregory Quetin

Biography

Gregory Quetin received his bachelors degree from the University of Washington Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics Engineering. He then spent 5 years at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory as an engineer building Imaging Spectrometers before returning to receive his Ph.D. from the University of Washington Department of Atmospheric Sciences. He spent 3 years as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Stanford University before joining UC Santa Barbara in the same role.

Research

Gregory Quetin explores how ecosystems respond to and modify the flows of carbon, water, and energy in the Earth climate system by integrating remote sensing, numerical models, and model data fusion.
