About Me

I received my Ph.D degree in Geography Department at Penn State University and my M.A. degree in Geography departmentat at University at Buffalo. I received my B.S. degree of Geographical Information System at Northwest University in China. 

The professional life in geography department does not only teach me research methods, but also lead me to see the world and my life from a broad perspective: macro to micro, and historical to comtemporal.  As a geographer,  I am interested in assessing and addressing global challenges (e.g., climate change, science and technology, sustainability) to make a better soceity for humanity from the global and local prospects.

I am a GIScientist, Data Visualizer, Thinker, as well as Book, Health, Sport, and Travel Lover.
