Honors:
Terry is a Professor of both Geography and Computer Science and was Chair of the latter from 1986 to 1990. He was a member of the NAS/NRC Computer Science and Telecommunications Board, 1999-2002; he was the NSF Distinguished Lecturer at CISE, NSF, in Washington DC in 2003; and he gave the Invited Keynote Lecture at The Future of Digital Libraries in Canada (Workshop) at UCB, Vancouver, Canada in 2004.
